Wilco's main approach to creating a song is by forming the song as aw hole to hear how it sounds, he then deconstructs the song piece by piece and instrument by instrument. He then continues to perfect these little subparts by either adding or taking stuff out.
When I first begin a writing assignment I make a list of everything I have to incorporate into the writing, from there I make an outline with those topics. When I'm done with that, I start to put my paper into paragraph form. I then Edit my entire paper, and write my final draft from that point.
Very nice post, Ryan. Next time be mindful of comma splices. If you have two complete sentences, you need to punctuation them with a period, not a comma.
