The Egg Conflict Questions

.)The conflict would be an external one because the father doesn't have the physical capability and right attitude to correctly entertain his customers. Instead of entertaning them he tends to scare them, "There was a half insane light in his eyes as he stared glaring" (Anderson 6). You can't properly entertain someone if you are creeping them out. But because he doesn't have a choice at this, it would be external.

.) The chicken would represent the boy's parents and the eggs symbolize all the new innovations, ideas and ambitions they propose. "It was fathers idea to entertain the people in the restaraunt" (Anderson 5). This is just one example of a new idea that they came up with to better their business and lifestyle.

.)I believe that he says these things because like he said in the story, "Some chickens must go through a dreadful lifestyle" and "On a chicken farm death was a dialy visitor" (Anderson 2 and 5). This explains his dark and gloomy mood because he was always surrounded by death. Both he and philosophers know about the aspects of life and all the events that come in it.

.)One time I was deciding on whether to buy a new movie or a new nerf gun, both of which cost $20 and all I had was $20. I ended up buying the nerf hun because I felt like I could have nerf wars and more fun with it. This would be an internal conflict because I had two decisions that would affect me.
