1.) Some ideal personality traits for an individualistic culture would be selfishness, dependent, smart, and creative, Some traits for a collectivist culture would be modest, reliable, communicator and friendly.
2.)I think this is true for an individualistic culture because collectivist would work more as a group and listen to everyones opinion whereas in an individualist culture you would just have your own opinion to build upon.
3.)If a teacher from an individualist culture acknowledges Quan for getting the highest score on the test even though everyone else did really weell, some parents and even kids might be angered because the teacher would not be acknowledging everyones great scores.
4.)An aquantice is someone who you are familiar, but not close enough to be called a friend. I would say this word has a negative connotation because that person isn't close enough to be considered a friend.
