My favorite quote:
"If God wasn't a Hokie fan, then why in the fall do the leaves turn marroon and orange?"

East vs. West

1. The west views the east as "others" who are inferior to their own, and are a lazy group of people.

2.When it says the west often views the east as homogenously, it means that they are very collectivist, dependent upon others, and can't think for themselves.

3.Easterners emotions and reactions are determined by racial considerations, and their actions are determined by instinctive emotions such as lust, terror, and fury.

4. The view of the east benefits the west because it pushes them to greater lengths to do better, so they aren't considered inferior as well. It is also a major morale booster.

5.I think this view still exist today, but not as strongly. The westerners are still to proud of themselves and just think higher of themselves.
